Acceptance

These terms apply when you use Procrastop, an iPhone app published by Ziad Ismail. Downloading or using the app means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please delete the app.

Your licence, and Apple's agreement

Procrastop is distributed only through Apple's App Store. Your licence to use it is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the standard agreement Apple applies when a developer has not supplied a custom one. No custom agreement has been supplied for Procrastop, so the standard agreement is the licence you hold.

These Terms of Use sit alongside that agreement. They describe how the app is sold and supported and what it does and does not promise. Where the two conflict on the scope of your licence, Apple's agreement governs. Nothing here is intended to reduce a right that agreement gives you.

Apple is not responsible for Procrastop or its contents, and has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as a user of the app.

Eligibility

You need a compatible iPhone and an Apple Account to download the app. You must be old enough to hold an Apple Account under Apple's rules and the law where you live, or to have a parent or guardian agree to these terms on your behalf.

Using the app

You may use Procrastop on any iPhone you own or control, for personal or work purposes, as the licence above permits. You may not decompile or reverse engineer the app, redistribute or resell it, work around any technical limitation in it, or use it to do anything unlawful or to harm anyone else.

Your content

Your tasks are yours. They are stored on your device, the developer never receives them, and no claim is made over anything you write. You are responsible for what you put into the app and for keeping your own copies of anything you would not want to lose. Settings, Task Management, Export exists for exactly that.

Ownership

The app itself, its name, its icon, its design, its text and its code belong to the developer and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you. You are given the right to use the app, not to own it.

Reminders are best effort

Reminders and alarms are scheduled through iOS and depend on things outside the app's control: the permissions you grant, Focus and Do Not Disturb, Low Power Mode, how iOS manages background activity, and whether your device is on and has enough storage. The app aims to be reliable, but you should not rely on it alone for anything where a missed reminder would be serious, such as medication, legal deadlines or travel. Please keep an independent reminder for those.

Purchases

Procrastop is a paid app bought once from the App Store. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no part of the app that requires a further payment to use.

The app also offers optional tips as consumable In-App Purchases. They exist only so you can support the work if you want to. They unlock no features, content, subscriptions or privileges of any kind, and the app behaves identically whether or not you ever send one.

Every purchase, the app itself and any tip, is processed by Apple under the terms of your Apple Account, and prices are set per App Store storefront. Refunds are handled by Apple through its usual process rather than by the developer.

Support

Support is provided by the developer, by email, as described on the Support page. Apple has no obligation to support the app.

Availability and changes

The app may be updated, changed or withdrawn from the App Store at any time, and features may be added or removed between versions. The iOS versions it supports may change as it is updated. These terms may also be revised, in which case the date above changes and the current version applies to your continued use.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting the app, which also removes the data it stored. No notice is needed and no account has to be closed. If you use the app in breach of these terms, the licence to use it ends.

No warranty

The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error free operation. Some of these exclusions may not apply to you where the law does not allow them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including missed deadlines, lost tasks or data loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy

How the app handles information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Applicable law

No single country's law is named here. Procrastop is distributed worldwide through the App Store, so your purchase is governed by your agreement with Apple, and the consumer protection law of the country you live in applies to you in full. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces a right you have under that law.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with Apple's agreement and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and the developer about the app.
